How exactly does the process work at STREFA CNC?
🔹 01. Service history check
Before we begin working on a machine, we verify its service history with an authorized service partner. We check, among other things, previous repairs, replaced parts and how the machine has been serviced to date.
Thanks to our cooperation with HOMAG Polska, we can access available service records, allowing us to better assess the machine’s condition from the very beginning.
🔹 02. Cleaning
Before starting the technical inspection, we thoroughly clean the entire machine. We remove dirt, deposits, material residue and dried adhesive. For this purpose, we use dry ice cleaning technology.
Thorough cleaning also allows us to assess the condition of individual components more accurately.
🔹 03. Technical inspection
Once the machine has been cleaned, we proceed with a detailed technical inspection.
We assess individual machine components, their level of wear and their operation. We also inspect the machine while it is running to identify any potential irregularities.
🔹 04. Assessment
The next stage involves detailed diagnostics while the machine is in operation.
We inspect individual components and aggregates, assess their condition and determine which elements require replacement or refurbishment. This is the stage at which we define the scope of further work required for the specific machine.
🔹 05. Replacement and refurbishment
Once the scope of work has been determined, we order the required parts from the manufacturer through HOMAG Polska.
Worn components are replaced or refurbished, and original parts are installed by an authorized service team. This gives us confidence that the machine’s key components have been prepared in accordance with the manufacturer’s standards.
🔹 06. Customization
Refurbishment does not always end with simply restoring the machine to working order. Depending on the customer’s needs, we adapt the machine to their specific production requirements – both mechanically and in terms of software.
This means that the refurbished machine can be tailored not only to its technical condition, but also to the requirements of a specific production process.
🔹 07. Testing and trials
The next stage involves machine trials and testing.
These are carried out in our workshop using materials supplied by the customer. This allows us to check how the machine performs with the specific material and whether the results meet the customer’s expectations.
It is also an opportunity for the customer to see in practice how the machine handles their specific requirements.
🔹 08. Customer acceptance test
Once the refurbishment and parts replacement work has been completed, the machine is presented to the customer at our facility in Wadowice.
During the acceptance test, the customer can see the machine in operation, including using their own materials, and verify the results against the previously agreed requirements.
🔹 09. Installation and training
After acceptance, the machine is delivered to the customer.
Installation is carried out by HOMAG Polska’s authorized service team, in accordance with the manufacturer’s technical requirements and standards. Once the machine has been commissioned, the customer also receives operator training.
However, the process does not end there. Two weeks after installation, a follow-up visit is carried out, during which the service team answers the customer’s questions and helps resolve any issues that may have arisen during the initial period of operation.
🔹 10. Warranty
The final stage of the process is the warranty. We provide a 30-day STREFA SELECT warranty on the parts used during the machine’s refurbishment.
After completing all 10 stages, the machine has been thoroughly inspected and approved as a machine ready for further operation.
